Ingredients for Pyaazwali Bhindi Recipe
Ladyfingers (bhindi) 15-18 medium
Onion 1 medium
Shallots 15-20
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tablespoons
Coriander powder 2 teaspoons
Cumin powder 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
Dry mango powder (amchur) 1/2 teaspoon
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Method
Step 1
Discard the crown of the ladyfingers and cut into medium size pieces. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.Chop the onion. Combine salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, amchur and red chilli powder in a bowl. Mix well.
Step 2
Add ladyfingers to the masala mixture and mix well. Set aside. Add chopped onion and shallots to the pan. Toss and add the ladyfingers. Set aside the leftover masala.
Step 3
Toss to mix and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add leftover masala and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes more. Serve hot.
