Raising a daughter..?

Daughters are truly angels from heaven. They make our lives complete with their presence. My mom usually says she is blessed to have daughters that are emotionally supportive, loving and caring. She hasn’t ever felt the need of having a son..which is a old school thinking in our society that sons will be there to take care in their old age.

Our Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) had daughters and the generation continued with them. There is a little story from the time of Prophet Muhammed that I’d love to share. Whenever his daughter Bibi Fatima R.A used to visit him, he used to stand up and make her daughter sit in his place & kiss her hand out of affection. SubhanAllah..the beauty of daughters is still alive in our homes & shall be too in coming generations Inshaallah!❤️

Allah’s Apostle said : “ He who is involved in the responsibility of bringing up daughters, and he accords benevolent treatment towards them.. There would be protection for him on the day of judgement and from hell fire..” (Sahih Muslim Book 45, Hadees 190)
