Recipe on my friends’ demand -

Eggless Choco vanilla kitkat gems cake

For cake :
Ingredients

- 1 cup all purpose flour/maida
- 1/4 cup coco powder
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1/4 cup refined oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup milk- room temp
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp instant coffee powder

Method -
1. Take a bowl add oil and icing sugar and mix them really well to form a smooth mixture.
2. To this add condensed milk and mix well
3. In a separate bowl sieve together flour, coco,baking powder, baking soda and coffee.
4. Sieve this flour mix at least twice as this will help rise the cake for perfect texture
5. Add half of the milk and half of the flour mix to oil mix and beat well.
6. Add rest of the milk and flour mix and mix well. At this point do not over beat the mixture, just mix all the ingredients well.
7.Add vanilla essence to the mixture
8.Take baking pan, grease from all the sides and sprinkle some flour all over.
9.Pour the cake batter in greased pan and give it nice tap.
10.Bake the cake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 30/35 minutes
11.Once done, let the cake cool and take out
Your chocolate cake is ready...:)

Chocolate ganache
( p.s I normally use dark compound with milk to add in fresh cream but I realised late night that cooking chocolate was missing so I used cocoa powder- trust me it came out just as perfect- sometimes being lazy and experimenting give you a better result)

Ingredients-
-1 cup heavy fat fresh cream
-3/4 cup cocoa powder, sifted ( it is v imp to sift)
-1/4 cup icing sugar
-1/2 teaspoon instant coffee powder
-1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
-1 tsp unsalted butter
- A pinch of salt

Method -
1. In a pan on medium flame, heat the cream. It should not boil, turn off the flame just before it comes to a boil.
2. Once done, add cocoa powder to warm cream.
3. Let the cream and cocoa powder rest for minimum 5 minutes.
4. Now, give it a good until you get A smooth and creamy mixture .
5.Add vanilla essence , butter and salt and give it a nice stir.
6.That's it, your chocolate ganache is ready to go on your cake..:)
Let this mixture sit for a good time.It will thicken as it cools.

Glaze your cake with ganache and decorate your cake with kit kat bars and gems.

You know what...i am bit crazy... when i am on dentist chair or idea of baking.....i remember Final Destination movie... ha ha ha ha.. now things will burst kinda image will come. I know this is crazy. Dont know why. Last week my girl was asking me... why cant yoi bake me a cake. Its easy. I dont know fro. Where she got this thing.
