Chocolate fudge with dates!!
This is a recipe usually made with lots of refined flour, butter and sugar but I have tried to make a guilt free version. It also has melon seeds which are good for brain development. This has no oil, ghee or sugar and is very healthy for kids. No baking, no frying..it is super easy to make!!
Ingredients
18-; 25 Soft pitted dates (the ones which are seedless and dark in colour)
Mix of chopped and roasted nuts like cashews, almonds, pistachios (as per choice)
Chocolate powder - 3 table spoon's;
Roasted Melon seeds -2 table spoons (for garnish)
Butter paper or cling wrap sheet
Method
1. chop the dates well into small pieces; and add them to a mixer grinder.
2. Add roasted nuts and chocolate powder to it.
3. Grind the mix 2-3 times by giving rest in between.
4. Take out the mix on a butter paper or cling wrap and give shape of a bar. Garnish with melon seeds.
5. Keep this bar well covered in wrap or butter paper or in fridge to set for 3-4 hours.
The fudge is ready. You may cut it into pieces and enjoy.;;;
