"Red Lentil Soup

Ingredients :
1. Red Lentils - 1/2 cup wash and soak for 15-20 mins
2. Tomato - 1 chopped
3. Bottle gourd / Lauki - 1/2 cup peeled and chopped
4. Water - As required
5. Turmeric powder - a pinch

Preparation :
1. Take a pressure cooker and add chopped tomato, Lauki and the Dal with water
2. Add turmeric and allow 3-4 whistles
3. Once cooked , let it cool and and then transfer to a blender.
4. Blend till smooth but maintain the liquid consistency.
5. Serve lukewarm and fed with a baby spoon

Note: Breastfeeding is advised until 12 months and beyond as it is a rich source of nutrients for the baby
