(Dubai- Day 1 - Part1-2)

Travelling to Dubai is definitely not tedious,even with a kid in hand. It’s just 4 hours and most of the babies are either sleeping or looking around! To make things easier,most of the airlines do hand over a colouring book or a toy to keep the lil ones engaged. Rey loved his colouring book and toy that was handed over. He used it for a while and then happily slept off.Must mention he still remembers the food that was served ! It was that yummy!!

Soon after we landed, my pappa’s student came to pick us up at the airport( one of the perks of being a professor 😉). After a good night’s rest , we were all pumped up to go for a city tour for half a day.This is where the travel agents goofed up and then the whole trip was full of goofups🥶!! The initial pick up time given was 9A.M and to our utter dismay,the travel agent forgot to inform the change in timings. The tour was to begin at 8 A.M and v got the confirmation only after v called up to check on the tour guys as no one came for the pick up.We missed the first pit stop which was a museum (which v later completed on our own) all thanks to the shabby tour agent!

The rest of the tour was pretty good with us making a visit to the jumeirah beach ,Burj Al Arab, Louvre museum , touring famous mosques, palaces residential zones and the souk in general. Lots of these places we covered later too coz v felt v never saw much during the guided tour.The weather was pleasant , parents and kiddo were happy and rest assured we returned back to our hotel around 2 in the afternoon. We were all the more excited coz the night was still young!!
