not really but a little. hormones which helps in milk production works best when your baby suckels your breast. so try to feed your lo with regular intervals and please take ample rest and you can get good milk production.

Yes any touch with baby's skin and moms skin or if mom is not available then dads skin can be called skin to skin. However the more the contact the better. For eg in an nicu if baby is not allowed to be lifted then stroking the hand or the feet is also great. If baby is full term and with parents holding baby in your arms, doing a gentle massage etc is great skin to skin. We suggest dads enjoy this as well by removing the shirt and holding the baby skin to skin for a few minutes every day. Moms get this opportunity while breast feeding.
