So before signing off for the day would love to share my passion for cooking by sharing a recipe.
Gave a twist to my regular kheer by using oats instead of rice to prepare it. Oats kheer
Ingredients-
1 cup oats
2 tablespoon ghee
3 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar or as required
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
10 pieces almonds
10 pieces cashews
10 pieces pistachios Method-
Chop all the dry fruits.
Heat 2 tablespoon ghee in a thick heavy bottomed pan.
Add the oats and roast it on low flame until it slightly changes colour.
Then add milk and allow it to boil.
Lower the heat and simmer the oats kheer for 2-3 minutes, then add sugar.
Keep it on flame for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats soften.
Finally add the cardamom powder alongwith chopped dry fruits and give it a stir and switch off the flame. Keep the kheer a little runny as it will thicken more once it cools down. You can serve it either warm or cold. #BBCreatorsClub#bbcreatorsclub#mommytakeover#beingmommy
