So my baby started not pooping for 3days and so on and I took her to the doctor who said it was constipation and she was inserted medicine in her butt and pooped... It happened again and the doctor did the same.... The whole of last week she only pooped once on Thursday and hasn't pooped again.... She's farting a lot and it really smells bad...is this normal? Please help

17 days? This is so disappointing to see a Paediatrician suggesting this to a new born. Please please change your Paediatrician. Breastfeeding babies can skip potty upto 10 days and it's absolutely normal. You drink more water and feed her, drink atleast 4 liters of water per day and increase your breastfeeding session. Please don't repeat this inserting medicines.

Hey if the baby is not in pain or not crying .. just the poop is irregular then nothing to worry.. it's normal.. keep Breastfeeding..
