Sometimes we run out of vegetables in our kitchen pantry especially before and after vacations..

.

.

This is when you can cook this easy Dahi Papad mangodi sabji

.

.

One is with dahi

Other one is with water and amchur

You can even skip mangodi (mangodi is sun dried badi made out of soaked and grinded yellow moong dal)

.

.

Ingredients
1. Ghee

2. Papad 3-4 dry roasted

3. Salt to taste

4. Dahi 1cup whisked

5. Turmeric powder

6. Kasoori methi 1tsp

7. Red chilli powder and whole according to taste

8. Garam masala 1/4 TSP

9. Hing pinch

10. Coriander leaves

11. Bay leaves

12. Mangodi if you have or skip

13. Jeera 1/4tsp

.

.

Method:-

1. Heat a pan..

2. Add ghee and once heated add bay leaf, hing, jeera, red chilli whole to splutter

3. Add whisked curd in low flame and with the help of spoon stir continuously so that curd doesn't curdle..

4. When a boil comes add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and let it boil for 2-3 boils

5. Now add roasted papad broken to pieces..

6. Add water if required

7. Add garam masala, kasoori methi and let it boil..

8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, paratha, Missi roti etc..

.

.

NOTE For mangodi roast it in ghee and add water and let it boil..

Once boiled add with papad to boiled dahi mixture..

.

.

Will share the other version very soon..

Till then try this out, share with friends and family, comment, save and like..

If you try don't forget to tag me..
