Ingredients :
Cooked Rice - 3 tbsp
Spinach leaves - 1 cup tightly packed
Homemade Ghee - ½ Tsp
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Water - ¼ cup
Preparation :
1.Place the spinach leaves in a pressure cooker along with turmeric powder.
2. Add water and pressure cook for three whistles in low flame.
3. Cool it down and add contents to a blender. Blend everything to a smooth paste.
4. Then add ghee to the spinach puree. Mix it well with a spoon. Set this aside.
5. Take mashed rice in a mixing bowl and add 2 to 3 tbsp of spinach puree to it.
6. Mix the rice well and feed with a baby spoon
Note: Breastfeeding is advised until 12 months and beyond as it is a rich source of nutrients for the baby
