This is the truth of today's education..somehow marks are everything..something like this happened in pune too. Its heart wrenching and ridiculous to see how education and learning has become a business. A kid who may be very talented and has the potential of doing wonders is shown the door or asked to compromise just because he or she is not standing in that 95+ wala line..amazing na when just few years back, 85-9o% score was considered very good and 91-93 used to be the cut offs..the new benchmark is minimum 95-96 or you are worthless..is it increasing population and thus competition..if so why are so many seats lying vacant?..our faulty systems, ideology and practices, reservation which is politically motivated, over expectation from kids at a small age are responsible for child suicides and acts like those that happened in Ryan..it needs a serious rejig!!;;
