Ingredients
1½ cups semolina/suji/rawa
½ cup tomatoes (finely chopped)
1 cup onion (finely chopped)
1 cup red, green, yellow bell peppers (finely chopped)
1 tablespoon fresh coriander (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
½ teaspoon black pepper powder
3-4 tablespoons butter
10 slices bread
1½ cups water
Preparation Method
--In a large bowl add the semolina. Followed by all the finely chopped veggies, onions, red, yellow and green bell peppers, tomatoes and fresh coriander.
--Now add the dried spices, red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, oregano and salt and mix until well combined.
--Add little water at a time to form a nice thick batter, the consistency shouldn’t be runny. Now let it resat for around 7-8 minutes.
--Once done, generously spread the suji and veggies mixture on one side of the bread slice, leaving the other side plain. Similarly prepare all the suji toast.
--Place a tawa or pan over medium flame and add some butter on it. Now place the suji toast and toast them for couple of minutes from each side, until perfectly toasted.
--Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
--You can store the suji and veggies mixture in the refrigerator for upto a week. #instantrecipes
