if u get floor from market then it becomes easy...we can get Dhokla floor easily in grinding mill ..so, we purchase it & add buttermilk n warm water in floor nd leaving for aatha & making dhokla..no need to do soaking nd grinding procedures..

for dhokla,; procedures<br>

soaked rice ( 3 cup)nd chana daal ( small 1 cup)overnite then make batter in mixture grinder( consistancy like idli or dosa) at morning nd leave it for 6 to 8 hours for aatha..then at night add salt, hing, oil, coriander , turmuric in batter nd mix very well...<br>
take batter in plate , sprinkle red chilli powder nd chopped coriender ..<br>
now; steam it in dhokla
maker or in steamer.. for 15 min.. check with knife..if not sticky its ready..<br>
serve with chutny n oil..
