The weather is getting hotter and the summer calls for a homemade malai kulfi

INGREDIENTS

Milk 1 lit

Dry fruit powder 1 teaspoon

Elaichi powder 1/4th teaspoon

Sugar 3-4 tablespoon

Custard powder 1 teaspoon
Take a wide pan add milk and boil it until it reduces to half keep scrapping malai from the sides of the pan. When it reaches half of its quantity add sugar, Elaichi powder, dry fruit powder or chopped dry fruits mix and continue reducing it to 1/4th. Dissolvecustard powder in 2 spoons of cold milk and add it to the reduced milk and cook it for 2-3 min continously stirring it. Let it cool

Pour into molds and let it set for 4-5 hrs or overnight. Enjoy yummy homemade kulfi 😋
Tip : the kulfi mix becomes thick after it cools down. Your kulfi will not get set if the mix is too thick.

Cover the kulfi with aluminum foil the avoid water crystal if using anything other than the kulfi mould.
