This is for a friend of mine... she is weaning her son ( feeding only in night)and has joined office two months back..
she is feeling a lump/swelling on her right breast..she did hot fermentation yesterday..but that lump/swelling has not gone.However, she is not feeling any pain on pressing it.. @Priya Sood could you please tag any doc for advice

It is possible that a duct is blocked due to infrequent feeding. It is normal and expected to happen but if left unattended can get infected. At the moment since there is no pain or discomfort just hot fermentation and gentle massage a few times a day should help. Also ensure that the undergarments are comfortable. If it does not reduce in 24-36 hours of above then it is best to have a check up with the gynac.
