Exclusively breast fed till six months solids and breast milk from six months to one year. if mom and baby both wish to continue then till two years. this is recommended by world health organization

For six months only breast milk and nothing else, not even water. If you feel baby needs water or other liquid feeding mother must drink plenty of water. After six months you can start with weaning.
