Depends upon the support system you have and the leaves granted .. at least till 6 months one has to exclusively breastfeed.. so one should be there.. after that you start with solids then little flexible.. see how you can manage.. if parents or in-laws can come and you can have a house help.. or a day care after a few days..

This completely depends on you. You can join work whenever you feel you are ready. Some moms join even after 4th or 5th month and some might not even join for a year. So, it completely depends on your situation.
