Its not possible that your child never gets hurt, but yes you can be more careful as your baby grows. These tips that kept me sane when #mylilbacchu started to walk and crawl at a great speed...
1. Safety corners and edges for tables and wooden almirahs ..if you cannot find them, make one using thermocol n plastic sheets.
2. Do not buy toys which have separable small parts as you never know when they can be a part of baby's food.
3. Keep all the toiletries away from the reach of children.
4. Keep the doors of bathrooms always closed when not in use.
5. To tighten the drawers of dressing , insert an old socks as you close it. This tightens the drawers and makes it difficult for the babies to open them.
6. Safety plugs are important, if you have plug points at their reach.
7. Tap Hoses made of silicon can be useful in reducing the impact if a child gets hurt with a low level tap in the bathroom.
8. Empty the shelves with sharp objects in your modular kitchen.
9. Make sure you do not keep any hot object withing the reach of your child.
10. Keep an extra set of keys at neighbour's place, in case you have automatic locks at your doors.
11. Always take your mobile with you, while using the loo, as you never know when your child can give you a punishment of locking you inside ;)
