Today after a long gap of 1 year, both my moms are with me and together. I can't express my happiness in words because I am still working on my writing skills 😁
The 2nd pic in collage was taken on Nemit's 6th month birthday, that's last time both Nani and Dadi were seen together. 1st one is today's morning pic. Whole year went like that, Nani Dadi didn't meet because of some uncontrollable situations and their busy schedules.
I always wanted to get married in a family who would accept me and my parents as a part of their own family so there would be no formalities among us. But we all know this is something impossible and if tried then hardest to achieve.
I shared my views on this with my hubby and he really liked the idea of having One Big Loving Family. Gradually we started working towards it. I would talk to my mom about leaving inhibitions behind and get ready for a change. But u know the age old thing which parents do, hum to beti k ghar ka Pani bhi nai piyenge and all that. Hubby would talk to his mom about looking at future and accepting some new concepts for our own happiness.
We have come a long way now, there is no Lena Dena happening in our family, no money or gifts are distributed for extended family members on the name of occasions, my mom would not stay for a single night at our home but now she spends few days every month with us and now finally we are going on a trip together.
I still remember that day when I wished for this trip with both mothers accompanying us, I was not sure for my mother (in law) as she never leaves her youngest son alone who is now working but Unmarried and don't know how to cook 😛 But she said Yes!
God bless these old ladies, I love them so much. ❤
Day 2- I am at Salon getting straight therapy for my chotu chotu hairs and giving Nani Dadi a Bonding time with Nemit as a link. 😁
Thank you so much lovely mummas 😘😘 have a great weekend ❤
