Today I will like to talk about the most important organ or body part of Female Anatomy... "PELVIC FLOOR"
PF muscle is the organ that holds and supports the bladder, uterus (womb) & bowel. The openings from these organs: the Urethra from the bladder, the Vagina from the uterus and Anus from the bowel pass through the Pelvic Floor. For us to understand it in simpler words...look at the animated picture of the Pelvic floor below, imagine our Pelvis is like a Paper bag of groceries, then your Pelvic floor is the bottom part of the bag (acting like a Hammock) and you can see how the female pelvic organs sit on top of the Pelvic floor muscles.
PF has lots of important functions to perform:

1. Support Pelvic Organs

2. Control bladder and Bowel movements

3. Helps in passing of urine and faeces

4. Sexual function

5. Breathing

6. Pregnancy and childbirth
Being pregnant and giving birth stretches the muscles of your pelvic floor causing it to be weakened and this may lead to Prolapse of the Pelvic floor organs. Pelvic organ prolapse affects millions of women worldwide.

For us to identify if our PF is weak (common symptom): passing of small amount of urine when coughing, sneezing, laughing or running.
The only remedy is to do pelvic floor training. Key: MINIMIZING THE FORCES ABOVE UNTIL THE FORCES FROM BELOW CAN SUPPORT THEM
PF training can strengthen the muscle and it will take approx 3 months to see major improvement.
Happy Pelvic floor will lead to overall well being and good health for the female
It's most important for us post pregnancy to take more care and focus on rebuilding and strengthening our pelvic floor. Dont ignore the most important organ of our body. Happy and healthy Pelvic floor will guarantee healthy and beautiful life for us.
In Kangatraining we mainly focus on the pelvic floor and all our exercises includes PF strengthening as the key element.
In case you have any doubts about your pelvic floor and its strengthening do get in touch with me. #mypelvicfloor #pelvicfloor #pelvicfloorstrengthening #corestrengthening #postnatalfitness #babywearingworkout #BBCreatorsClub #joyofworkingoutwithbaby #workingoutwithbaby #workoutdesignedformoms
