Today met a dermatologist with my 5 months old baby girl and the doctor says she has atopic dermatitis which is a form of eczema.. I am a lil scared. Any moms here who had similar problems with their baby?; Any inputs?

You need to avoid any irritant like dust ,pollens, pets.
Always maintain very high level of hygiene.
If it happens once it can happen again.

AD is not uncommon to see nowadays considering the increased exposure to allergens.
There is not much need to worry if it is actually AD.
A moisturizer and a mild steroid combination makes the best treatment for it.
Don't worry.
