#ToddlerMoms I would like to know how your toddlers make new friends.
Do they open up and talk or do you have to make them talk? Is your child shy or outspoken? Can you share your experience on how to ensure making friends is easy for your child?

My daughter was very shy, but I never interfered or pushed her to talk to anyone.
I was active at her play school, so my friends kids gradually became her friends.
At big school, she eventually learnt to make friends. Now she has building friends, bus friends, school friends!
I believe just a gentle nudge or creating opportunity for kids to mix with other kids is enough. I wouldn't suggest pushing kids to make friends...let it happen naturally.

My toddler was very friendly...used to make friends on her own . The best policy is here is..just stand at a distance and keep a watch..dont interfere ...they take their time and start .

Thanks for the tag Priya! My daughter is 14 months old and she is neither shy nor outspoken. She takes 2 to 4 days time to gel with anybody new. After that she feels comfortable to play with other kids. But in the first meeting she shows anxiety and unwillingness to gel with other kids. So I take her among them regularly for 2 3 days then she starts playing with them😄
