Toddlers And Screen

Most of the baby's brain development happens in thr first 2 years of life.Thats why it is so important for babies and toddlers to explore their environment n experience many sights,sounds,tastes n textures.Interacting and playing with others help children about the world around them.

For tht reason,American Academy of Pediatrics recommends limiting the amount of that babies and toddlers spent in front of a screen.That's a good advice but in today's world,it can be tough to keep babies n toddlers away from Tv's,Tablets,Computers,smartphones n gaming system.
How Much Is Too Much??

Toddlers from 18 to 24 months old can start to enjoy some screen time with a parent or caregiver.By ages 2 and 3, kids should not watch more than one hour daily.
Today m facing this problem.As i live in joint family.The two kids of my jethani have vacations,so they are at home.They spend mist of their time by watching Tv or phone. By watching them Vyaan too demands for phone,but i simply said to him NO,u will not get mobile.Sometimes he cry n sometimes show anger.After sometimes he becomes calm as he know mom will not give mobile to him.I am always in attempt that Vyaan should not eat using mobile.Sometimes my family members said to me ,give him for some time,i simply said that i didnot want to harm his eyes.I make him to et usi g his toys with sound n lighting effect,make him to sit on his cycle ridet.Sometimes take him to outside to watch a cow or dog.Sometimes he used to play with kitchen utensils or a small dough with rolling pin.There are some ideas that help me to divert his mind from Tv or mobiles...
▶Explore new words,ideas,sounds n pictures with him.

▶Show him a photo of themselves n name parts of their face.

▶Show him the pictures of family members n talk about them

▶Give him puzzles or blocks n ask him to arrange.

▶Give him a piano that speaks out alphabets n numbers.

▶Give him a set of artifical fruits n vegetables n ask him to cut them #vyaannmom
