😀Try out this quick, simple, no-bake muesli bar recipe for your little ones.
👍🏻👍🏻Muesli bars are a nutritious, energy-packed snacks. ✅these tasty treats are super simple to make yourself (without all the added junk), and you can get as creative as you want in terms of using ingredients like your favourite nuts, seeds and dry fruits.
〰️INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup almonds (finely chopped) 1/2 cup walnuts ( finely chopped) 1/4 cup dessicated coconut 1 tbsp chia seeds 2 tbsp dried blue berries 4 dried dates (finely chopped) 3/4 cup peanut butter 1/2 cup raw honey
✅METHOD 〰️Mix all ingredients (except for peanut butter and honey) together in a large mixing bowl.
〰️Melt peanut butter and honey together in a pan on low heat.Mix constantly to ensure it doesn't burn.
〰️Once melted, remove from heat and add to the other ingredients in the mixing bowl.
〰️Mix until all ingredients are well coated with the peanut butter and honey.
〰️Take a little of the mixture and very firmly press it together in your hand - if it sticks together well and can form a little ball, then it should be just right. If it doesn't seem to be holding together well then add a little more honey, a bit at a time, until the mixture can hold together. On the other hand, if your mixture seems too sloppy, just add a little more oats.
〰️Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
〰️Spread muesli mixture evenly in the pan, try to make it about 1 1/2 - 2 cm thick.
〰️Cover the top with baking paper and use your hands to press down on it all firmly and evenly until it is well packed in, very firm, and evenly spread out.
〰️Chill in the fridge for at least two hours before cutting into squares/bars, to ensure it is properly set.
〰️Store in the fridge for two to three weeks in an airtight container.
I am sure the toddlers would love this 😍😍q
