It's a very overused injection...better to just take vaginal or oral progesterone rather than injections and that also if you have recurrent pregnancy losses or <u>bleeding</u> in this pregnancy

It is usually given to avoid early births, miscarriages.. especially given after first trimester.. but it is up to the gynec, when it should be given.. do you have any history of miscarriages or pre mature births or any type of bleeding or spotting in present pregnancy??
