Vehicles ... adolescent .. toddlers...is it ok???

I have been riding a two wheeler now for about 12 years and got into proper traffic and have been riding for 9 years. But even now, I sometimes dread the traffic and huge vehicles. But in the last few years there's been a tremendous increase in riders under the age of 18 yrs. A boy as old as 10, is allowed to ride a bike ( gear or gearless) , I often also see some off them holding their tiny lil ones in their laps while driving a car. Is it worth what they are doing it for??

These boys are mostly in a rage of age,; new age stunts and cinema. They wanna be heroes and heroism is often portrayed as fighting and winning or performing stunts that are at times extremely dangerous. I always worry as to how parents let these young kids ride, when they are not even aware of half the traffic rules. They are extreme during riding bikes, cuts, wrong side, speeding, overtaking and what not. Ask the parents and you are sure to get one answer " woh road pe nhe jaata, yahan galiyon mein he chalata hai, theek hai naa kaam pad gaya, tho bacha kab kaam ayega." ( He doesn't go to the main roads and sticks to the lanes and by lanes and when there's work can't help and when will he come handy). God forbid, but danger comes uninvited..doesn't warn you before and anything uneventful can happen anywhere. Do you warn your people against holding your lil one in the driver seat while driving... Your sure to listen.."it's ok , I'm in control." Can you forecast or predict when things are gonna go out of control and then handover the lil one to someone else to gain control again.;

Usually it's a matter of seconds before horror strikes. I wonder, where does all the education, knowledge, understanding and basic logic go during these times. It's strange that as parents we are so protectively ignorant to these facts or we are not affected by the thought of the afterwards. My dad didn't buy me a bike until I started my PG studies, he was constantly worried about how traffic was and what might go wrong, not that something would but nothing is sure. This I'm talking about is 2007-2008 and city Hyderabad. Back then traffic was bad, but today its worst. This post is dedicated to every parent who thinks "it ok" , please it's not ok. Your child is precious to you and you need to reconsider the thought of letting him or her ride or drive before he or she is actually ready. You might be putting your child and many more out there in danger and risk. Your love for your kid is absolutely understandable, but that doesn't mean you hold your baby or toddler in your lap while driving.;

Please give it a thought, think till your logical brain gives you an answer or is tired to the extent that you don't repeat this great mistake ever again.🙏🙏
