Morning I had made sabudana khichdi left some sabudana made this Vada out of it.

Sabudana Vada


Ingredients

Sabudana 1 cup

Potatoes 2 boiled and mashed

Green Chillies 1 to 2 finely chopped

Peanuts 1/2 cup roasted and coarsely ground

Jeera 1/2 tsp

Lemon Juice 2tsp

Red Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp

Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp

Cumin Powder 1/2 tsp

Salt as per taste

Coriander leaves

Oil for Frying



Method

👉Wash sabudana 2 to 3 times and then soak in water for night or 4 to 5 hrs hours.Sabudana should be separate and moist.

👉Take a container add boiled mashed potatoes sabudana Add roast and coarsely grind peanuts. Add Red Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder and Salt. finely chopped green chillies, Jeera and lemon juice.Mix all the ingredients well.
👉Roll them into round flat patties.
👉Fry the patties in medium to low heat oil till they turn golden brown.

If in hurry soak atleast for 5 hours.<br> Wash and soak the sabudana in enough water to cover them.Sabudana has to be really soaked well. Not even a little hardness should be left in the sabudana. drain off the water completely and rinse with fresh water for 3-4 times or till water runs clean.The water needs to be drained well. Use a seive or a colander to drain the water. If there is moisture in the mixture then you won't get a proper shape of the sabudana vadas and they will become soggy from inside. Not soaked properly then it will break in oil. If the sabudana vada breaks while frying, then add some rice flour.<br> Press sabudana with finger if it is hard soak for more . <br><br> ;
