sabudana kheer is very easy to make. i remember that sabudana kheer was my mom’s favorite kheer and she would make this kheer often… and this is my mom’s recipe which she has been making for many years now.

Sabudana kheer receipe

Ingredients

3/ 4 cup - sabudana

5 cup - milk

Suger ( as per required )

4/ 5 green cardamoms

2 tsp chopped cashews

2 tsp sliced almonds

1/2 tsp rainsins

3/4 saffron strands
How to make

1 wash sabudana in water and drain them . Soak them for 5 / 6 hours .

2 Heat the milk in a heavy pan over medium flame .

3 when milk comes to boil , add soaked sabudana .

4 add sugar and stir well untill it dissolves completely .

5 cook them untill they turn transparents and soft or for around 10-15 mints make sure to stir continuously .

6 reduse heat to low and add cardamoms and dissolved saffron .

7 cook them untill milk turns thick .

8 turn off the flame and transfer preared sabudana kheer to a serving bowl .

8 garnish it with sliced almonds and chopped cashews , rainsins and serve warm or chilled .
