Want to put your little one to sleep..
I tried this with my baby and it works even when she is colicky and crying uncontrollably.
Put some white noise (preferably sound of water) on phone.I have downloaded an app called baby sleep that has different sounds but the sound of gushing water calms a crying child..

I even let the sound on when baby is off to sleep. It really works.Share in comments what works for your child!

I would think the same that baby might become dependent plus with time the baby might want to start exploring the source- that means will want the mobile in his hands...
Music in general is soothing n also a good tool for distraction. But I wouldn't use it to put a baby to sleep.
White noise has its own pros and cons.. pros are already listed by akansha.. cons are white noise may exceed recommended noise limits for babies, they may become dependent on white noise to be able to fall asleep, and most importantly NOT all babies respond well to white noise. Anyhow, some of the white noise apps are not recommended due to the result of noise induced hearing loss.. so, still the research is going on.. And personally, i would not recommend.. but yeah, rarely once in a while if baby is crancky or colicky, to make them more curious we can opt this, as the tiny tots are adressed as tiny researchers 😁
