Wat is EEG test? Pls explain...can EEG affects childs brain? Is it a possiblity of seizures during EEG test??pls help guys...
<a href="http://app.babychakra.com/user/140837"><b><font color ="#3b5998">Rebecca Prakash</font></b></a> no dear..evrything is not fyn...my baby got seizure bcz of high fever as doc said and also he was injured on his head due to which lot of bleeding was happed..thatswhy doc suggested us for MRI ..but unfortunately MRI report shows local frontal lobe atrophy ..thn we took him to neurologist and he asked for EEG test .today we r going for EEG..pls pray evrything will be fyn soon...

Eeg is a test to cheack brain activity. It won't affect the child's brain. If the child is epileptic and not on medicatìons then seizures can occur during eeg test. But the technicians are trained enoigh to handle that.
