What is DIET? Often my clients come and ask me that i want to loose weight or gain weight etc so put me on bla bla bla diet (the so called trending diet on internet marketed by food companies and campainged by celebs).By saying so they expect me to keep them deprived of salt, sugar, gluten etc. But have you ever thought what does the term DIET actually stands for? Lets dissect it D :- Daily I :- Intake of E :- Essential Nurients and T :- Trace Elements Essential nutrients means macro major food groups like Carbohydrate, Protein, Fats, Fibre and Water and Trace elements means micro food group like vitamins and minerals. Our body needs each of these food groups all the time in all the meals to function properly.Omitting any of the above can lead to serious health hazards. Eating everything from all the food groups is the key to remain healthy both physically and mentally.
