Normally in all music and dance schools they recommend 6 years of age...fir instruments like piano its 7 years but for tabla and guitar 7 years plus as the fingers have to be more developed ...you can start with vocal first and then move on to instruments as it will help thr child learn the basics and also utilize the time as by then he will be ready for instruments ..
