exclusively breastfeed the baby. eat a normal diet. no restrictions per <u>se</u> because of jaundice. but breast milk removes bilirubin through stool and urine faster.

Neonatal jaundice is a common occurrence. It happens as the baby's immature liver cannot excrete the excess bilirubin. Frequent feeding will result in frequent urination and this will help flush out the bilirubin. You can also expose your baby to morning indirect sunlight for fifteen to twenty minutes. Baby should be undressed down to the diaper and expose the baby to indirect sunlight they a white muslin cloth or something similar

you don't need to change anything in ur dite . consult pediatrician. u can keep the baby in early morning's sun rays which are not harsh,for 20 minutes. my mil suggested me this .
