When babies start sucking their fingers?? Yesterday i woke up with some suckling sound and to my surprise thats novi(my lo) sucking her thumb... Though i found it cute for a moment but at very next moment i got tensed that y she is sucking ... 🙄she hungry???? ( but she was well feeded before some time) , does sucking fingers cause any infection to her??? And why she started it so early, I heard that 3-4 month old baby do this... But she it just one n half month old 🤐
congratulations on her first milestone. babies get excited to find their own body parts and so they will keep repeating the action. nothing to be done. just keep fingers clean. let her suck away. its a concern if she continues after 2 years of age. u may wnat to meet a pediac then. as of now no worries

Haha that’s cute. This doesn’t mean she is hungry. Babies explore their surroundings and their own body and this is a way to ward of any stress. It’s shooting for them.
