when the baby moves for some seconds my tummy becomes tighter at that very specific place for that time.so is it normal or are these some types of contractions??

It's fine and normal. It is also normal to experience Braxton Hicks contractions which are tightening sensation in the abdomen which lasts for a few seconds and is sporadic.

everyday at a fixed time, lay on your side and count the kicks in a time period, say half hour or so... it will help to know if there are variations in movements...
