It takes time...atleast baby should pass 6 months...once baby is on solids...routine can be set. Have patience ..other super suggestions already given !!

Trick ques.. somebody told me that her baby started to sleep through the night from 3rd month onwards.. I was really happy and started; hoping the same with me.. but that didint happen..my baby wakes up every hr to have feed and then goes back to sleep.. so it's diff for each baby.. no 2 babies will have the same schedule.. don't worry.. I am sure it will happen soon with us too.. liking forward to that undisturbed sleep through the night, whenever that happens :D..

Try and start with a routine now ! All the luck
