White keema. This is my mother-in-laws recipe. Minimum ingredients and taste absolutely worth drooling. I bet it will taste different if not cooked with ghee. Oil doesn’t gives that rustic flavour. Serves 4 persons. Serve with paranthas or khichadi. . 🍲Ingredients: Keema (minced mutton): 300 grams. Onion: 1 large sliced. Ginger garlic paste: 1 table spoon. Green chilli: 1 chopped. Coriander and milt leaves : washed chopped half cup. Spices : Cumin-1/4 tsp,peppercorns- 5-6, cloves-3-4,cinnamon-1/2 inch, star anise-1 leave of the star,cardamom - 4. Coriander powder: 1 tsp. Garam masala powder: 1/2 tsp. Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp. Ghee: 1/2 cup. Curd: 1 tsp. Potato : 1 sliced. Salt as per taste. . 🍲Method: 1. Wash keema thoroughly. Heat a pan add in ghee. Add all the spices till crackles. Now add in onion and fry until soft. Add keema and let it cook for sometime. 2. Add in ginger-garlic paste. And chopped mint and coriander leaves. Cook till keema is done. Add in 1 cup of water cook for half an hour approximately. 3. Add in curd and sliced potatoes cook for another 10 minutes. 4. Take off from the flame , garnish with caramelised onions ( barista) , coriander leaves and mint. 5. Done to devour! #inasandmamas#mamacooks
