WHY EARLY LEARNING FOR TODDLERS?
.
1. Your child's brain grows at an explosive rate during the FIRST 3 YEARS of his life. Brains are built over time, from the bottom up!
.
2.The brain reaches HALF its mature weight by about 6 MONTHS and 90% of it's final weight by age 8 (yrs.)
.
3.Existing connections eagerly await new experiences that shape the neural networks for language, imagination, cognitive skills, moral values, thinking etc.
These connections partly depends on GENES and partly on the EXPERIENCES of EARLY LIFE
.
4. So, everything you do with your baby/toddler - caring, nurturing, playing, touching, talking, eating, walking, reading, cuddling, singing help jump-start his/her Brain.
.
5.Early childhood education begins at home. Holistic development sees the child as a whole person - physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, morally, culturally and spiritually.
While, PLAY IS THE FIRST WAY CHILDREN LEARN TO MAKE SENSE OF THE WORLD AT A YOUNG AGE.
.
6.The loving care and nurture children receive in their first years - or the lack of these emotional experiences - leave lasting imprints on young minds.
.
7.Early learning stimulates brain for few of the following skills :
◽Thinking skills
◽Concentration skills
◽Language and Communication
◽Imagination and Creativity
◽Emotional Development
◽Memory Skills etc.
.
8.Scientific evidence suggests that if the brain does not receive the proper stimulation during this critical window (period), it is very difficult for the brain to rewire itself at the later time!
