This is a False statement. Now your friend have to doubt about this paediatric expert. In take in pregnancy may have some effect on baby's growth. But I feel it's completely false that curd will cause cough and cold in babies due to mother's intake. In Ayurveda, it's been mentioned to have curd only during day time and if night consumed their will be formation of Kapha. Your friend should look into the family history of this. If babies will be very allergic to dust, cold weather, certain food items. They have to see that. I suggest to change the doctor. Also.. how offer he will get cough and cold. As kids if that age starts going to school..they will get infection from her fellow classmate. Any ordinary adult cam suffer from.cough and cold atleast 3-4 times in a year. And kids even 10-12 times till the age 6. It's just the way body responds. More antibiotics will make our immune system weak.
