(I also had red bleeding at 9th week also after that I went for hospitalisation)

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

hello..
rend in womb??? i neva heard this... can you explain more about this...
Low-lying placenta, or placenta praevia, is a complication of pregnancy where the placenta that feeds the growing baby is attached to the lower part of the womb near to or covering the cervix.
there are types- A low-lying placenta is near the cervical opening but not covering it. It will often move upward in the uterus as your due date approaches.A partial placenta praevia covers part of the cervical opening.A total placenta praevia covers and blocks the cervical opening.
Bed rest, avoid long standing walking strenous works climbing stairs and intercoarse, have plenty fluids, keep a pillow below your legs- helps in low lying placenta..

Mam I had water leakage in plenty.. thn my gyne told me it's leakage of amniotic fluid that was because of some hole in the womb..

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

Priya..
are you talking about uterine rupture or rupture of membrane???

Priya Ahuja

may b madam. but what my doctor told me in common words was that I have written..

I tell you the what actually happened. I was at my office suddenly I felt something came out of vagina.. I rushed and checked that was something water leakage and it would have been a glass of water...after that some red bleeding... afterwards I got hospitalized.. some leakage and bleeding happened till a month... all this happened after 3 months of preg. now my fifth month is going to complete and m still on rest...

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa

okay priya... its because of rupture of membranes... and might be because of low lying placenta...
please take adequate bed rest, dont do long time standing or walking, dont do strenous work, be calm and relaxed always, dont do intercoarse and keep pillows below legs.. have plenty fuids, stay hydrated..

Priya Ahuja

Dr. Shilpitha Shanthappa
