**Anonymous Post** Be Supportive
I am a new mom and have not been able to lactate which makes me feel very incomplete and I feel I am not fulfilling my duties towards my son. When he cries my heart wrenches and I feel very helpless. I really really need some serious help to manage myself emotionally as I am breaking down completely. I am being forced to give formula milk for lack of any solution and no one at home is understanding my emotional state. Pl help!!

You need to chill and keep trying. If you lactate, good enough and if you don't, it's still fine. Trust me, there are many mums like you who face the same situation, especially the mums of twins and more. Motherhood is much more than breast feeding. There are many other ways to bond with your Kid. Soon when the child would grow, you would realize he loves you equally and all this stress would be insignificant then. Also this is just the start, the sooner you would learn to ignore the society and it's unsolicited advice, the happier your motherhood journey would be. So relax and spend some quality and guilt-free time with your baby.

relax friend.. bottle feeding cam be done with equal love
also try pumping milk with a good quality pump and basically relax.
if you produce milk well n good..if you don't there is nothing to feel guilty.
and ofcourse you the best mother to your son

Fed is best! your a great mum doing a great job. If you want help with breastfeeding contact a lactation consultant or la leche league india. The majority of women can breastfeed, many are unable because they are not given the correct support or information . Dr's are not trained in breastfeeding.

I totally agree with every one above... not being able to breastfeed doesn't make you less of a mom...
I'm sure you have tried every possible thing... also the fact that this disturbs you... itself shows how badly you want to nurse your baby... if it doesn't work go ahead and bottle fed your baby.. all the best
