how to increase my energy level??
I used to be very very active during pregnancy...as we live away from our family.. .so i did everything on my  own... but after my delivery c sec... 2 months back... all i think of is sleeping. .. I feel too low n lack energy..
wat shud i do

Hi Shikha,
Pregnancy has lot of Changes occurring in the body.
The Chores along with caring for the baby is taxing. Lack of sleep adds on to it.
1.Get help to take care of the baby.Ask your Husband to manage the baby when at home and bring the baby to you only for feeds. this will give you rest and some much needed ME time.
Take good care of your meals. Don't skip meals. Eat healthy balanced diet.
Go for some light exercise like walk or stroll in the garden.
also many women undergo PPD or Blues due to Hormonal Changes.

shikha Singh there are no magic pills to get back your energy levels.. only follow things dr. said... till my delivery, i was so energetic, i had to keep reminding myself that i was pregnant. i could move about, sit on floor, climb stairs as if not pregnant. but as soon as i delivered i found even moving about a difficult thing, all my joints were stiff, doing simple household chores seemed to be so taxing. it took six months to get back to normal self... you do need the recovery time, and to take things slow, else recovery will get more delayed.
