Hi my baby is 6 mnths old hw many times should I give her fruits veggies n porridge in a day...she is vomiting everything which I give her n tell me the quantity pls....

baby needs one meal only. their gut is still developing, pls go slow with food. u need to introduce one veg or one fruit one by one. wait to see if baby does well for 3 days, then introduce next vege or fruit. at 6 months, u can give mashed potato, sweet potato, carrots, mashed bananas or baked or steamed apples. this is more than enough. pls dont over load the child.

and one meal wud mean just 5-6 spoons and thats all. do not compare ur hunger with a 6 month old.

start with boil apple... mashed banana...boil potatoes..... introduce one fruit ..one by one..wait and see for 3days then start other fruits ...do not force baby ..let him eat two or three spoon..go slowly..feed her in between...give water to drink...

don't try too many things at a time..since baby is only 6 months old..initially start with daal ka pani or chawal ka pani and one mashed fruit( seasonal) like banana, chiku or steamed apple..continue with the same food for 5-6 days so that baby can develop taste..initially your baby won't take much..be patient..gradually increase the quantity..

instead of boiling apple..peal apple and put it in a bowl and keep it inside a cooker with little water..apple will become soft and could be easily mashed..this will keep it's nutrients intact
