Dear Vanashri, Your concern is natural as you embark upon the journey of motherhood. Lot of questions, fears, doubts do tend to crop up every now and then But if the constant worry is coming in the way of your everyday life it needs to be addressed. Anxiety can sometimes be unhealthy and its primarily your negative thoughts that are fuelling your fear. You need to have a healthier self talk. Tell yourself that you are going for regular checks. The doctor is monitoring the baby's well being and you need to contribute by staying healthy and happy by planting better thoughts.Try some relaxation and calming exercises. If you have any query related to the baby's health, reach out to your gynaecologist. She/He will help you understand the process. If you feel you anxiety is persistent for more than 2 weeks, please do go and seek help from a professional to help you deal with the fear and equip you with healthier coping strategies.
