Congratulations! By when are you planning for a baby?
Congratulations! How many weeks are you?
I have a
1 year old baby
i think its ur personal choice... i didn't fast...Its too hot and staying hydrated during pregnancy is must.....also ur fetus needs a lot of nutrition from you...It ks in the 2nd trimester that we get to eat well so listen to jr body and do wat is good for ur baby... ramadan to har sa aega... ur baby is special...
hi dear, its certainly not advisable... you can get health problems... aren't women exempted from fasting while mensuration and pregnancy?
I don't think you should fast. you could perhaps substitute whole meals with fruits and milk to ensure your baby gets its nutrients
hey Zahra.. as per my understanding pregnant n lactating mothers can make up for their fast in later years...
Thanks Sonam, sheeba, sumira and suhasini.. :)
Hi sheeba.. It's not mandatory to fast during pregnancy..some women do fast.. But as suhasini said can make up for it later...
hi...zahra...ramzan fasting me subah se shaam tak pani nahi pete hai..aap baad me fast rkhna.. pregnancy n breastfeeding ke time fast nahi rakhte hai aisa hmare old people kahte hai..enjoy in ramzan...take care..
Sumira Bhatia hey in ramadaan fasting means complete fasting without any food... even water. so she can't have fruits. so we are suggesting her to make up for fasts later n not to fast now :)
Thanks Durga :)
pregnancy me water scarcity can cause.many infextions and can affect the level.of.amnio. so better nezxt time. for.lactating mother they can fast. no harm. infact i was also fasting in my breastfeeding time.
Thanks riz Rose. :)
ya, i know... i have friends 😊... you can make up for it later then dear... pregnancy is a very sensitive period... even while taking everything correctly also health problems arise... here you are not alone, you have a baby to nurture as well... Allah sees your heart, so take care for now.... ☺

zahra u do not need to fast for ramzan. as in Islam the fast for ramzan are compulsory but ye would be mothers k liye mast hai. and beyond dat u need to stay hydrated and healthy. soo it's batter u do not do

Suhasini Vinod yes, I am aware but I thought since she wants to perhaps keep it like that. I didn't know that you can keep it later if you're pregnant
