Hi Everyone have a query as I am in 35week so what should you eat after delivery ? After my first delivery I wud hav moong dal and masoor dal with ghee and zeera tadka , daliya , khicdi and milk , veg only bottlegourd and carrot n peas. This was for 40 days and I weaned on to little spices in the end and normal food.But have read so much that shud include all types of food. So please help.

Post delivery you can eat everything that you are allowed to eat during pregnancy as long as it is healthy. It is recommended that you have a balanced diet which includes all different foods such as grains pulses legumes fruits vegetables and milk products. Eat six times a day but small meals and ensure that you have atleast twelve glasses of water to support breast milk production.
