It is best not to go on a crash diet while breastfeeding. Avoid fried foods, ghee items and sugary items. Eat lots of fresh fruits vegetables and high protein foods along with whole grain roti or brown rice. Include some exercise like a brisk 30-45 minutes walk everyday.
