revathi suresh

ok i will try to make him feed

revathi suresh

for how many hours i want to make him feed now

Dr. Payal M

it takes a couple of days for flow to be established. right now you will have colostrum which is like a thick liquid coming from nipples. please feed baby this. put baby to breast as often as required. this will stimulate milk production.

revathi suresh

from mrng colostrum itself comes for 5drops that also he is not sucking

Papia Bhattacharjee

don't worry at all... it takes 3-4 days for proper milk flow. Till then keep breastfeeding your baby as frequent as possible.. not more than 2 hrs gap should be given. This would stimulate proper milk flow sooner. In case ur baby is crying and demanding more then speak to ur doctor he might advice formulated milk like nan plus

Sonali Shivlani

It takes three to five days for the milk to move from colostrum to mature milk. However this process needs frequent Stimulation. Please latch the baby on to the breast for suckling every two hours even if you feel you are making just a couple of drops.

revathi suresh

ok thank u so much frnds for ur suggestion
