My 3 yr old son got these all over his body, legs and hands from our trip to the park today. It was around 12:30 pm when we were in the park and he ran to a different slide which was a little hot in the sun and he came crying when he got a "chatka" cos of the hot slide. Our regular Paediatrician recommended syp Atarax. will this allergy go away without taking the syrup? Will applying calasoft help?

gayathrib varma

apply some cream if it's burn

Prisha Lalwani (Mummasaurus)

apply lacto calamine if u have at home. a lotion named calosoft with lacto calamine as one of thr main ingredients is always available in mynjme which is saf and effective to use when soothing skin is required.

Dr.Srujana Kona( PT)

S..Calosoft lotion takes care of itching n Aterax works from inside as it is anti allergic..My advice is to go with both..With one or 2 doses rashes will go off.

Jasmeet Kaur Deep

If the syrup is advised by the pediatrician, why not give it to soothe him sooner. Hope he rashes vanish soon. Take care

Priya Antony

yeah.. gave him the syrup too.. the Paediatrician suggested nevlon lotion.. I'd that better than calosoft
